Breakfast

When you book directly, breakfast is included within the rate. 

If you book through a third party (such as booking.com) you get a choice.

This choice is not always obvious, particularly for booking.com guests; unfortunately, we have no control over the way they sell the rooms.

You may have booked ROOM ONLY but would like breakfast. Adding breakfast in this way is an additional £8.50 per person per breakfast - paid on-site in cash. Just reply to the initial 'welcome' text saying you'd like to add breakfast, and we will provide a slip for you to return with your order (Just place in the basket in the hallway).

Room Selection

If you book directly, we can discuss which room would suit you better.

If you book through a third party or via our website, YOU are choosing the room, so please read the descriptions carefully (we try to be as clear as possible)

If a room is marked as 'budget', it generally means it is smaller, or up a lot of stairs; this is reflected in the rate.

Parking

Parking permits are included within the rate.

A parking permit allows you to park in Zone W (check signposts, there's also a map HERE).

Booking.com advertise this as 'Free Parking' which suggests we have a Car Park; unfortunately, this is not the case.

Checking in or out

This is a remote process; we are not there when you check-in.

Your keys, parking permit, and menu slip are in an envelope located in the hallway (on the left as you go in). Identifiable by the surname of the lead guest.

You can check-in from 13:00; you can collect parking permits from 11:00.

Payment

We do not have a card machine.

We take cash, or bank transfer.

Pets

We are NOT pet friendly, sorry.

Rooms

There will be NO housekeeping entry to your room during your stay (excepting emergencies).

Rooms will be fully sanitized before and after your stay (and if requested, after three days if your stay is longer than four days). We use approved cleaning agents, disinfectants, and steam cleaning where appropriate.

Please leave your rubbish outside your room before 10:00 if it is full, or just needs removing.

Hang your towels up for re-use; but if you do need them refreshing - please place outside your room in the black laundry bag provided, before 10:00. (We accept one change per three days, there is a laundry charge of £5 for additional changes.)

Let us know if you need more complementary refreshments for your room, we provide up to 2 tea, 2 coffee, sugar, and 6 milk per day free of charge; if you'd like an additional 'day's supply' its £2.50.

Guests generally use less than a loo roll a day (in a double room); we supply at least enough for one a day, but please don’t feel embarrassed to ask for more.
